Our childhood influences our favourite flavours as adults. It tells me, that I screwed Mia’s flavours heaps, because I often give her what she asks for. And you know what she asks for… But I try to save the situation from time to time and prepare her something delicious and healthy. I remember loving homogenised cheese flavoured with vanilla as a young Marta. I could eat it each morning with a slice of a fresh bread and butter. That was my “go to” breakfast. So this is what I made for Mia as well. It turned out to be seriously easy and, if you follow me for some time now, you know that this is what I like the most. So this is it.
Obviously I had no idea how to prepare the homogenised cheese, so I searched the internet and I found this beautiful recipe. I love to discover new blogs, especially for blogs. You can find so many inspirations in someone’s kitchen. If you have your favourite, please share with me.

Recipe

You will need (for 2 people):

  • 250g twarogu or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup yoghurt (more if cheese is very dry)
  • 1 vanilla stick
  • 2 tbsp suger
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • Zest from 1/2 lemon
Place twaróg, yoghurt, vanilla and sugar in a bowl and mix well. The ingredients need to become a smooth cream, so it may take quite a few minutes. I did it in a mixer and it took about 5 minutes. If you do it by hand, way longer.

In another bowl mix raspberries, agave syrup and the lemon zest.

Divide the creamy cheese and raspberries between two bowls and try not to eat it too fast.

Enjoy, Marta
