Emergency morning green bowl breakfast

Life is changing. You think that getting pregnant is the beginning of the most amazing adventure in your life. Then you get what it means to be pregnant and you wait for the moment when you see your child for the very first time. Then you wait for the first month to pass so your life will go back to normal and then you understand that it never will and what is happening is actually the adventure you were imagining at the beginning.

But the adventure is slightly different than your original vision. It involves a lot of learning. And I mean A LOT! How they sleep, how they eat, how they play, how they react and then when you finally get it, it changes. And then again, and again and at some point you realise that you know your kid pretty well, and that it is so awesome, that you cannot express it enough, because this is a kind of awesomeness that you need to experience to understand.

Yep, my kid is awesome. Even more, she’s a master of awesomeness and I am just trying to catch up with her.

A part of catching up is trying to feed them well, in a way they will accept. Meaning, so that they actually eat it. Mia is great with food, she used to be even better, as she ate everything. But slowly she starts to be picky. And I try to give her good breakfasts that she will actually eat. Today breakfast was totally approved. She was sure that these are fruits and I sneaked spinach, celery and avocado into it!

I’ll post more breakfasts that Mia approved. There are already some on the blog, like:

Rolled crepes with chocolate and banana,

Millet pancakes,

Fluffy omelette with pears, cranberries, blue cheese and thyme,

Delicious crossed buns with ricotta and peaches ,

Chocolate waffles with ice creams and raspberry sauce.
